mtnwych's Life List:
finish medical transcription course, because it would be something I actually finished, it could provide me with a career and an income, it would mean my partner and I have more financial freedom, and it would be boost to my self-esteem
establish a daily meditation practice; this would mean I am learning discipline, and would help me cope with life's stresses
while in Australia, I want to see Kakadu, the outback, Sydney, Melbourne, and Tasmania (at a minimum); I want this not only for the experience, but to add to the value of having moved here from the other side of the world (make it worthwhile)
establish a yoga practice (3+ times/week); I want this because of the physical and mental health benefits, and because it would mean I'm learning self-care and determination
to learn to live life healthily, even with mental illness; well, otherwise there's no point...
to move to Vancouver Island; I hope it would mean living in a place of beauty, peace, in nature, in a community of at least some like-minded people
travel with my partner to Europe; it's just something we haven't done together, that we'd both like to do
learn stress-reduction and coping skills
learn to draw and paint with some proficiency, because I love art, and it would give me an outlet for what's inside me, and also would be another moment of discipline and perseverance
to develop a regular exercise practice
