Anyone else have trouble setting goals?

I have never been very good at setting goals, other than the most obvious.  I mean-get a job, get a degree-that sort of thing.  I am struggling a little with the purpose of my life.  I have raised several great children, but other than that, I have accomplished little.  If asked about what I want to do with the rest of my life, I'm lost.  I mean, I have a hard time sometimes figuring out what to do with my free time.  Have you ever just sat for hours staring at the walls trying to figure out what you want to do?  Interesting exercise, but the walls hold no answers.  All it does is kill time.  So, I have attempted to set some goals, but now I have to refine them into reasonable, realistic, one step at a time doable goals.  Does Tools help with this?

By the way, I'm on Day 21, and I have never felt better about myself.  I am working two affirmation programs that are really helping, at least with self-esteem levels.  I am also working a self-esteem program.  It is truly great how these all overlap.   Tools is adding much needed structure and direction to my life.  My home is already much cleaner and neater, thanks to 10 minutes a day.
