I'm a 30-year-old elementary school teacher.  I teach 4th grade in a Special Ed Inclusion classroom and it's awesome!  I'm challenged, tested, and educated every day.  I belly laugh at least once a day and go home completely exhausted every night.  That is important to me since my work-ethic is very high.  I'm blessed to have a career in which I can positively impact my community and the lives around me. (corny...I know)

I'm single and I live with my 3 fluffy roommates.  I don't think you become a crazy cat lady until you hit kitty #4.  I think I'm the only single, childless, 30-year-old female in South Jersey...and because of this, most people (secretly or not) think of me as a freak of nature.  My crazy Italian mother (God love her) has just about given hope on seeing me in a wedding gown...and now spends all of her energy coddling my "normal" younger brother's child. 

I'm lucky enough to have a wonderful, caring boyfriend and a great apartment that is my haven away from the world.  I've been a vegetarian for over 17 years...and I am the true definition of a "bleeding heart"  who rarely wears it on her sleeve.

I'm naturally a nostalgic, wallow in my memories and reminiscent kind of person.  In the past, my past has certainly gotten the better of me.

I used to regret and be embarrassed by my past.  I used to let it trap and confuse me.  Since hitting my 30's however, I'm finally starting to see the puzzle pieces coming together. 

Every decision that I've made, or didn't make, has lead me to where I am today.  And I know that this is where I'm supposed to be. 

I don't like to think about the future too much.  I guess I don't want to be disappointed or ruin the surprise of it all.

I just want to get my Master's degree...that's the future I'm focused on at this moment.
