Hello! I'm here because I want to be the very best person I can be. I want to make all my goals and dreams come true. And I have a lot of them! It's time I got started!

I joined TOOLS because:
I'm interested in improving myself and this website seemed comprehensive, yet free, so I wasn't really risking anything, only my time.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
Gosh! I don't know. I think I already have my dream job . . . no! That's a lie. My dream job would be as a book editor.
My favorite wild animal is:
 monkey or koala bear
Why (describe as much as possible):
I guess I like cute cuddly fun animals. Monkeys have interesting personalities. I guess the bear would just be a wonderful hug :-) I love animals.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
dogs, long haired ones mostly, I like terriers, cocker spaniels, shih-poos and the like
Why:
hmm, that's an interesting question i never really thought about before. i guess i grew up with a bunch of wooly mutts, they seem more lovable or something. I tend to associate the bigger sleeker dogs with animals bred for home security, protection and other jobs. And I want a dog to be my best friend, my cuddly love, inside with me and sleeping on my bed.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
Oh my! Anything but seafood! Something foreign and exotic that I've never tried before but is the chef's specialty.
Why:
I love trying new foods. I grew up with a rather limited palate, in a meat and potato family that weren't at all daring. Every month or so I discover a new taste sensation that I love.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Kevin Smith, Cameron Crowe, Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, Margaret Laurence
Why:
I'm a huge fan of all these people. Kevin Smith would be funny to talk with and unpredictable, one wouldn't know where the conversation would lead. He's also very down to earth. Cameron Crowe has led such an interesting life working for Rolling Stone magazine when he was a kid, marrying a rock star, making multiple movies with big stars like Tom Cruise. All of his films are my favourites. I think he'd be really interesting to talk with. I love Angelina Jolie! I love how she just is who she is and the rest of the world can stick it if they don't like it. I love how she cares about the state of the world and being a good mother. This is someone who really knows who she is, has travelled extensively, has a wild past, I think she'd just be so interesting to get to know. Matt Damon strikes me as being just a regular guy from Boston only wicked talented. The boy can act! He can also write and he's interested in helping other people, in being more than just an actor. I love all his movies. I enjoy him immensely when I see him on talk shows. He has a great sense of humour, and I think he'd be a wonderful dinner guest. He'd bring a different perspective to the table. And then we'd resurrect Margaret Laurence, my favourite Canadian author of my favourite novel, The Diviners. I was devastated when I learned she wasn't alive and I would never have the opportunity to meet her. Even in my early 20s when I first read The Diviners I felt like the character of Morag (tho much older) was based on me. She is the guest most likely to render me speechless in her presence, but I would so love to hear her speak about literature and art and creating.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
My first instinct is to say Rome, so I could spend a couple of months touring the Italian countryside. But that's a real goal of mine, something I intend to make happen, and this is a magic pilot, so perhaps I'd choose Sydney, Australia, because though I would love to go down under one day, I think the chances of it really happening are much less than Italy. So for my fantasy trip, I'll go to Australia!
My perfect slice of pizza is:
whole wheat thin crust topped with sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, roasted red peppers, oregano chicken, cheese
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
a glass of dry red wine
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
 regular coffee with cream
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
that my four nieces and one nephew would live long healthy and fulfilling lives, that everyone in my extended family would have enough, that loving our mother earth and nurturing her back to health would become a priority of every inhabitant
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
when the angels make contact by matt mays, soundtrack for elizabethtown, john mellencamp's words and music
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
i would go shopping around the square downtown for secondhand work-out clothes, books and picture frames. then i would sit on the patio of my favourite bistro and enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of my favourite dessert, their signature drumstick squares.
A sunset I remember:
It's strange, for someone who only recently became a morning person, I recall many more sunrises than sunsets. I can't see the sunset out the window by my computer desk because it happens around the other side of the apartment, but last night's dusk was brilliant!
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
I can't think of any character I'd want to switch places with.
Why:
I'm familiar with my own flaws and weaknesses, adapting to someone else's would not be any fun.
