Monday - day #2 on good eating

Wow, I feel so much better already.  It makes me wonder why I allow the self sabotage and why I let myself have a "holiday".  Truth is the holiday was destructive and I am grateful that my memory is good and that deep down I always knew it would soon be time to return to tools and a program that works for me.  Patsy and I swam today with weights, I did my morning stretches and walked Hershey tonight.  I got a new elliptical machine from a friend so will still do my cardio tonight while I watch some tv...House is on I think.  I made good meals, healthy and nutritious and did a short meditation too.  It will be easy if I can just remember that the only enemy is inside of me....that small self, that child who wants to suck her thumb and eat cookies instead of being a grown up and taking charge of her life.  I want to feel good, for my new clothes to fit and to have the energy and will to get things done each day.  The dream is mine if I can simply remember to keep paying the price.  I made a chart, made the committment and made a pact with my friend.  This is a good thing!

Have you ever heard the expression...

"enjoy the price" instead of pay the price. I heard that somewhere and it made sense. What is the price? Eating good healthy food. That's something that is enjoyable right? Meditating, walking the dog, working out while watching something you like on TV, all enjoyable!
