Home from the Cruise....happy, healthy and ready to begin again

The cruise was everything I dreamed of and more.  We had a cabin with a balcony where Bob and I had our breakfast most mornings overlooking the salty sea.  I hiked in Grenada, snorkelled in Bonaire, shopped in Aruba and felt like a princess in my pretty new dresses.  I was even able to wear nice sandals after having lost so much weight.  What a difference this last 7 months has made in my life and my attitude.  Our support group began a new three week weight loss challenge yesterday that will take us up to Christmas Eve and during the first week, I hope to lose the 3 pounds I gained while sailing in the Caribbean, then lose 5 more before Christmas.  It is such a busy season that I find myself making lists so I can accomplish everything.  The difference this year to any other is that on my list are the things I need to do for me first (eat right, exercise, do my tools time) and so everything feels right in my world.  Thanks to beknec, autumn mist and wordbird who are always so supportive.  I am glad to be back blogging.

PROUD

I am so incredibly proud of you! ONWARD SISTA...ONWARD. Let's not dwell on the gains but on all the losses that are ahead. I am so proud you climbed the mountain.............wooooooooooohoooooooo

and the price of a beautiful  waterfall at the end!

Keep it up and we are all here for each other!

LIFE IS GRAND!

So I am in the mood to share photos today. SO I am dedicating this one for you! It is a real cloud I spotted one day.

wot, only 3 pounds?

You have done amazingly, to go on holiday and only gain 3 pounds!  Sounds like that wee small voice inside you might have been having a major say in what you did and what you ate.  Well done!

Sounds like you had an idealic time.  I love the fish - its body looks so metallic it's not funny - well done.

(Moonshadow) I've just been staring at your photo, and noticed that when I do the heart seems to swell up to make more room for me!

LOOK HOMEWARD, ANGEL ....

Hi there O'AngelSue,

That old ballad was the first line that came into my mind right after reading your post (sorry, I forgot who sang it ... Cliff Richard, could be .. not sure).  Anyway, that is a line in that same title song.

Wow!  ABB (alfresco balcony breakfast) by the sea one can only dream of.  How exhilirating. That was a well-savoured cruise.  Good on you, Sue.  As had always been on your toes (as hardworking as you always are), you very well deserve that cruise (of paradise and all!).  St. Nicholas must have put you as number one in his "checklist" (Cool).   I think I'll try not to be naughty (but nice) to have my turn next year (te he!).

So, now that you're back from the dreamland ... hello Toolsland.  Looks like you're going to be on the usual "on-the-move mood" again.  Busy bee.  Well, you're all energized, good luck on the challenge ... and the remaining pounds to sweep out.  You've been doing it with ease all along, so it's going to be "piece of cake" now.

Happy to have you back, safe and well.  Let's continue the journey again.  Enjoy and have a great day, Sue!

Cheers,

Autumn MistKiss

Sending you a hug Sending you a welcome back hug, warm thoughts, sunshine and bubbles.
