Deep Breath

OK, I told the boss I was quiting. He wanted me to stay (apparently the corporate excutives really like my work), so we worked out a deal there are no more threats of being fired and no more swearing. I deserve better

You did it! You did it!

Amazing. And then when you said you made some agreements I thought you were going to maybe fall for the "I'll be good for a while" thing...but nope. You get good for a while AND a better position. Way to go. Keep thinking those positive thoughts; happy visions of what will be...

Great job!

I just did the same thing - made a change of job to one where I am actually treated with appreciation.  It was the best move I've made in years. But I made sure I had another position before I stopped working hard on the one I was in...so left with positive feelings from all, I think...;-)

This tools thing has actually made me block out complaints from my mind.  Sometimes I backslide, but usually I am fairly focused on the positive.  Must work at it continually as I know I am bad about my ex, but am trying to improve...
