I was encouraged by my best friend since childhood who knows me inside out, that this would be a good place to work out some stuff that was on my mind, and be able to meet some folks who had some things in common with me. He is right...thanks Maurice!

 I would be the director of a very active and successful NPO - which I am currently building and launching, so this is in my reach...I have a message to share with the world...the challenge is how to get it to help me make a living...all in due time and in faith, this will be my dream job...where I love what I do for work everyday,I am getting very close to it.

 I am the owner of beautiful domestic cats who are my substitute children in my emptied nest, but I really am intrigued by the wild, big cats.They are a fascinating study, each species so different from each other, yet so similar in their relationship to each other. I am equally fascinated in the familial differences, and have watched the dynamics of lion prides, where the males and females have an equal but distinctly different role and position in keeping the family safe and well cared for. People could take a valuable lesson from these amazing animals. I recently took a cruise to Cabo San Lucas and had a surprise opportunity to visit a Wildlife Refuge there. I was able to hold a lion cub, who was about a month old. He was beautiful, still had his baby camoflaugue spots which would fade in a short time, and he even had "puppy breath". I was overwhelmed by the immense power already of this little guy's body, a solid mass of energy and strength, even though he was just a bit bigger than my biggest house cat, he was just an infant, very fetal still and cuddly because he was tired from visiting with so many people. He just curled up in my arms and wanted to nap, biting on my fingers as if he was seeking to nurse, he purred in a deep low motor sound that I was familiar with, but never had heard in such a low tone. I placed his paw in my hand and it filled the whole palm width, it was so big already. All I could imagine then was this baby boy cub that I was cradling, would someday exceed 600 lbs and could take his place as the king of the jungle in the hierarchy of the wild. Soon after this, the sad reports of the big cat attack and demise of a visitor in the San Francisco Zoo were broadcast to the world, and I am acutely aware of what a rare privilege it had been to commune for just a brief time, in safety with this young cat.

 Actually, my favorite is in my now deceased pet German shepard, Missy.. A shepard is very gentle, yet strong, intellegent, intuitive, communicative, and even would exhibit behaviors that would lead you to seeming believe that she had the ability to think, plan, and reason, quite human at times.

 Creme Brulee

 First, I love its smooth and rich flavor and texture...and it is a rare and elegant treat, one that I do not have the skill, patience or ingredients to make...so this is my indulgence for a special occasion.

 I have great respect for all of these people, and learned much from their values and ideals...these people I would like to share with my son who would also appreciate them and who is away serving in the Army, and I would love for him to meet his great grandmother who would be very proud of him, as I am.

 I have a dream of visiting the north west coast of Italy where it is very much like the weather of my area here in San Diego. The scenery is said to be breathtaking, The foods a simple, healthful alfresco Tuscan Italian fare, the villages friendly and the pace of life deliberate and slower than our hectic lifestyles here. It is a place I plan to go - Algondia!

 Oh, this is easy, I recently had a chicken, mushroom, and broccoli pizza with a mozarella, swiss, and parmesan cheeze medly over a white garlic sauce....mmmm good, never mind the calories...Wow!

 Today, I order a club soda with lime...I do not drink anymore, a personal choice, and I am quite comfortable drinking virgin drinks or a soda. I do not like the feeling of being sick from the alcohol, and I do not like being out of control...

 I order herbal teas, I prefer chinese green tea or fruit infusions.

 My wishes would be for good health for my friends, family and myself, I wish for my future husband to show up in my life so we can grow old together in comfort and peace, and I would wish for either the money or the ability to create the money to live a comfortable lifestyle without worries.

 Find someone who could buy his home

 About a year or two ago, I took an elderly friend to the beach to watch the sunset, it was just after a big fire here in the area, and with the smoke filled air, the sunset was incredibly red and orange,it filled the whole horizon and the water reflection was glassy dark grey and calm...it was surreal and almost as if we were on a different planet, God's most unusual and beautiful artwork. Beauty amidst tragedy.

 I do not really desire to replicate a fictional character, however I would like to try to fill the shoes of Dr Laura Slessenger, just for her insights, understanding of humankind, knowledge and ability to act upon right and wrong in the moment...almost automatically. I would not want to emulate her life or lifestyle...in otherwords, become her.

 She is entirely too active a traveler and takes much more risk than I would be comfortable with. It is important for me to stay in the here and now, and within my ability. Maybe someday, I could do the things she does, but not right now. I would choose to emulate her ability to get the job done...she has a great enthusiasm.
