Progress!! And another day...

 

After entering the last blog, I had another bath marathon and sorted some stuff in my head.  All that stuff yesterday is smoke and mirrors and my ego attempting to derail me from my stellar course... not possible anymore.  Smoke and mirrors baby!!  It ain't about nobody else but me, and I just need to remember that. 

 

It IS true.  We can only change OURSELVES.  We cannot do anything about what others choose to do.  And I do believe that focusing on others is THE best way to excuse ourselves from making the changes necessary in our lives to make them what we want them to be.  So today I choose to re-focus on myself and what I need to be doing.  Not complaining about how others might treat me...  I was sad.  That was valid.  Now it's time to move on.

 

So today is another BEAUTIFUL day, and my daughter and I are taking time from our busy lives to hang out with each other.  I am due to go away for the rest of the week for work and Maia is staying with friends, so we need some time to just BE!

 

I am having a GREAT day and I hope you all are too!!

That sounds great!  You make the most of what you are doing and enjoy your time with your daughter, it's FANTASTIC that you get to spend time with each other when life can often be too busy to get together.
