Day 12- real progress

DAy 12 is finally time to weigh in.  I LOST 6 POUNDS!!.  To tell the truth I have been modifying the diet a little the last few days. And I have slacked off exercise.  Think where I can be if I just get back on track for another 2 weeks. »

Day 9-good and bad

I am really pleased with following the diet plan.  Cooked up enough pan fried talapia for a number of meals.  Realized I have been ignoring chicken, even though that is my most common protein pre-diet.  I particularly enjoy the fact that potatoes and beans are on the diet-in small qua»

Day 8

The program introduced exercise today with a vengence. treadmill 45 -60 minutes, 5 days a week.  I have always opted for less time (30 minutes generally), which may account for why I havent lost much weight. Now we're talking.  I will make the time. Did poorly on the diet yes»

DAy 7

I am finding the food choices on this phase of the diet a little boring-especially in vegetables and protein.  But I think that means I just need to make more effort.  Last night I pan fried some talapia (using non-stick spray) with lots of seasoning and it was delicious.  I think I w»

Day 6 of diet

eating every 3 hours is interesting.  I am full each time but find I am really getting hungry by the next meal.  I guess it is the small portions.  Also find I am going through a lot of quantity of food. I have been eating out of my existing stock.  Time to hit the store now that»

Day 5

this is going to be great.  Only problem right now is eating what I think of as Breakfast, with a portion of protein, carbs and veggies.  Felt strange eating a cup of peas for breakfast, but it tasted good to me.  Putting bread and cereal off-limits changes the "tradition" o»

Day 4 of body makeover challenge

Day 3 of challenge

I am going to be religious about this program.  I was pleased that day 3 finally actually gave me something to do that might help weight loss: it identified the foods I need to buy and eat. A little quible, however.  We are three days into the program, three days of commitment and ent»

Body Makeover challenge-day 2

I am trying the Body Makeover Challenge. In day 2 they go over all the things to throw out and not to eat.  My initial reaction is that it may be too Pritiken-like: meaning so restrictive that it cannot be sustained.    It was billed as not a fad diet program. But I will give it »

I am have been participating in the Weight Loss Challenge  Support Group but have not been to the Tools lessons for some time now, (months).  I have benefited greatly from the Challenge Group and enjoyed it immensely.  But I developed a block about going back to the Tools program itse»
