expectations

I fought hard against todays lesson, but once again Coach Steele ended up really making sense.  All of my current difficulties  result from years of expecting things to turn out ok.  I have always been an optimist and a positive thinker.   But the message of today's lesson is that unless I act to make these positive things happen, positive thinking is just luck.  It is a fine subtle distinction between believing in the abundance available and taking action to make sure that abundance is realized.

My wife, who is a negative expectationist, a worrier, calls me Pollyanna.  For 50 years I proved her wrong.  For the last 10 years, it seems that life has proven her right.  Today's lesson points out the problem of the last 10 years was not the optimism or the positive thinking, it was sitting back and expecting those good results, rather than acting to make them happen.  I essentially retired from being an actor in my life.

Thank you Coach for helping me see I simply have to come out of retirement.

Great perception

The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm....one of my favourite quotes.

I can see that things are going to change around your house now that you are getting into action.  I love being with people who have a "Pollyanna" attitude...it's catching, invigorating and exciting.  Go for your dreams....nothing can stop you now.
