Hello! I'm Piccha!!

Who am I?

I've been thinking over and over, specially to put to that small section in Facebook called 'About Me'!

Well...

I am a navigator on the seas-at times stormy, at times mild. I am the explorer trying to find the lights in the dark horizon-to finally find a smooth sailing path for the waters full of rocks.

I am happy with my life. The fact is there is fluctuations.

I want this life to be better, happier...that's why I am on Tools!

I love meeting new people! So welcome...

I lived in a rut. Most people would say that their schooldays were the most wonderful time of their lives; it couldn't have been more opposite for ME!

I was a lonely child. No friends or siblings, being bullied, very shy: my only solace was the world of books. I read and read and read. AND I conjured up my dream world, an escape from the real world. That was where I lived. A life of fun, joy and excitement! In reality, it was the total opposite.

As a young teen, I had some good friends, but as I grew older, I gradually became a recluse. I had to go through some harsh bullying, and then I turned to studies. I had a good brain and there was no need for any hard work. My brain became my weapon.

Then came 'disaster'. I scored a B for my best subject in a decisive exam. I couldn't bear it! My one and only weapon had failed me! I changed schools, hoping for a new life, but unfortunately, I didn't change myself. My studies suffered greatly.  I became a total antisocial, nasty recluse. I gained weight to the point of obesity.

Looking back, on those days, I wonder whether that THAT was ME?

All this resulted in severe depression. I skipped a major exam.

And then IT HIT me, not hit, simply SCREAMED out at me. I HAD to change; I HAD to LIVE that life of my dreams. AND I VOWED to do so!

It  was very very TOUGH. For every step forwards, there were ten steps backwards. I had a life-decisive exam; I was embroiled in an unrequitted love. Indeed there were times I've contemplated suicide. 

 But CHANGES did HAPPEN, some slowly, some gradually. I had two very dear friends to help me through. I had a wonderful mother. And I had God.

I'm a Buddhist  My religion doesn't recognize God. But I believe in a sublime force that looks upone and helps; that does miracles; something that helps us through the bad times as long as there's enough dreams; something that keeps us going; something unjudgemental. That's what I call God.

My exams finished this August. I took a deep breath and looked at my life.WOOOSH, I LIKED what I saw!

My exams went far better than i ever imgined!

I have great friends who are worth all the gold upone this earth.

I look fantastic!

AND the words I hear most frequently are 'OMG! You've CHANGED so MUCH!' What other words could be sweeter?

I've come a LONG way. There's a LONG way to go. I'm not living my DREAM LIFE, but I'm ECSTATIC that I'm LIVING LIFE, without trudging through any mere existence. Ahhh...life is BEE-YOO-TI-FUL!!!!

I'm a Dreamer of Dreams!

I dram of a glorious university life, wonderful in itself and wonderful enough to compensate my miserable school life. I dream of a bevy of friends and a rocking social life. I dream of meeting the guy of my dreams, and a bee-yoo-ti-ful love story. I dream of walking the catwalk. I dream of journalism.

AND my dreams keep me ALIVE, passinate of life, passionate for change, passionate for my dreams!
