day one

day one well ok I am an atrtist, and a very good one. but I am so lonely, and I am working in a job that is not me. well maybe a little as I am a jack of all trades. my family is all in other states, and I have streuggled with addiction most of my life. I feel so alone and just dont want to go on, help!!!!!! I am currently off of drugs, but I am writing this now under the influence of alcohol. I live in a crack motel, though I talk to no one here, I feel more suicidal every day. I am a great artist, I have desighgned and carved the first world cup trophies for snow boarding in the usa. I make very real and frightening halloween masks. but here I am alone in utah, working in a coal mine, with no love, no family, and it seems no hope. If it were not for my children I would not even try anymore,  I truly just want nto give up and die.....help me

Keep coming back

This is a good place for you. Like ellisfan said - stick with the programme, do the reading and exercises, and slowly but surely you will learn that you can make your life better. It's never too late to take control of your life - take full advantage of this opportunity!

Wishing you all the best and hoping to read how you're getting on,

You will find a community here

I am an artist and I work alone. I have a design studio downtown so I have the opportunity to be social if need be, but like most artists I am an introvert and I really like my solitude. Please embrace Tools... keep logging on, work though your exercises, read blogs and post comments... you will find a very supportive and understanding community here. You've made a good decision by coming here. Welcome.

Stick with it

I am ALSO an artist that works by himself, day in and day out.  TOOLS WILL work for you, you just NEED to be willing to accept ALL of its coaching and be 100% willing to change.  As you stated, you have children, so this change is not only for you but for them.  Happy to have you aboard!!

Be brave-lots of loving energy just for you!

You're not alone You're not alone

Welcome to Tools

You will find a lot of loving support here. Continue with the program and continue blogging, the people here will be there for you! Everyone here has joined for different reasons, some with serious addiction issues, some with temper or relationship problems, some who like you just feel ready to give up on life. You really are not alone here. Although we can't be with you in person, we will be with you in spirit and be there to lend a listening ear and words of encouragement when you are feeling down or need advice. Don't give up! If you really start to apply the tools you learn here and follow this program completely, you will start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We are all wishing you all the best and to be successful in finding joy in life again! Much love...

Sending you lots of love Sending you lots of love
