I need more hours in the day

Any advice, insight, recommendations or even books would be great.  Here is my normal day.  Up at 0500 do TOOLS, workout for 45-60, eat have coffee, shower, ready for work out the door by 0745 work til 1700 home by 1730, eat, 1800 3 miles with the dog 30min then 60-90 min of weights, heavy bag and abs.  Then eat clean up, clean myself up, take care of any chores, and BOOM its after nine and time to start bed time routine to sack out by 2200-2230.  I need to find an hour or two each day for school.  I'm at a loss, I don't understand how you married folks or parents do it.  Still sober and that has made an amazing difference in my productivity level I just need to find time for advancing my education.  How do you all get all you want done in a day?

Best wishes to all of you and hope life is shining on you  Cool

Oh yeah office fun tip:  fake bugs and fishing line, good stuff, use your imagination

I know

If you find out pleasssssse let me know!!!!

i say

Scrap the dog.... just a pee and poo and BAM back in the kennel for the rest of the night.

LOL those is TOTALLY jokes people DUH look at the picture! ha ha okay anyways

I know what u mean really I do. Heres an idea... is the work out stuff EVERY DAY? can we limit this to 3 days during the week, once on weekends? It WILL free up an hour or so for school in the eve? OR how about on weekends for school? OR weekend cooking class with rad... every sunday from 2-4 he cooks up meals for the week, thus saving an hour of cooking on a daily basis?

Or, you have to get up an hour earlier. Thats what ppl with kids do.

Whats this school buisness anyways?? What u takin??

Full days

I take school courses on the weekends through continuing ed, and with the kids, Man my week is super full, sports and extras always make for long days, We always make a few big meals during the week that will span a couple of days, Chili on sundays makes for a couple of evenings of meals then if you want all you have to do is prep some rice or salad (salad? who the hell said salad?) to go with it. Roast beast makes for dinner and beef dip night and a sandwich night too.  It's a juggling act big creds to you pullin it off bro.  Hey kick ass on the sobriety too while I'm at it!

Good Luck!

JP

Here's a Bad Response to your Question

I worked full-time, was a mom and went to school at night four times a week to be a court reporter for 3 1/2 years.  The result was a very unhealthy me, an unhappy husband and a child that missed me terribly.  I had to break my neck (literally) before I stopped.  DO NOT BREAK YOUR NECK!!! I'm thinking about going back to school, but only taking one or two classes.  I'm thinking about online or possible Saturday classes at the community college.  Progress, but keep your life in perspective.  I worked my ass off and am $35,000 in debt for something I can't physically do.  Sucks; huh!  I'm not giving up though -- Do you know what you want to go back to school for?  I don't have a clue!Cool

ummmm

Are you a body builder or something? Holy cow, that is a lot of working out! I try to work out 45 minutes a day during the week and a little longer on weekends... just one workout a day for me! I wish I had some answers for you... but honestly, unless you cut back on exercise or sleep, I'm not sure!

good job!

with keeping your life so busy. just keep in mind like Coach Steele says, dont take on to much at once. it sounds like you have alot on your plate but its good that you want to improve yourself even more.

im not saying dont workout less, i keep in mind what a professional nutritionist told me. she told me that 30 to 60 minutes of exercise, meaning an elevated heart rate, will work for weight maintence, then 60 to 90 minutes is for weight loss. i could be wrong but i have always kept this in mind when working out and exercising. im not saying your over doing it at all. your probably bouncing off the walls with energy so thats awesome! just look at your life and what you do to see if you can cut back a few minutes here and there to free up some time to do something extra.

Keep it up brutha!
