Well Um Yeah I'm An A Hole

Yep I said it.  So there I was, taking my dog for a walk in the rain because I am being healthy and fit, when we came across a broken beer bottle on the trail.  There was glass everywhere so not wanting my little hommie to cut his paw I picked his little wet and muddy ass up and carried him past the glass.  Well I got very wet and muddy and a little pissed that some A Hole was careless enough to toss a bottle out where people obviously walk.  That is when it happened.  My inner voice reached out and kicked me right in the jimmy by saying “well I guess that makes you quite the A Hole then doesn’t.”  That damn voice is always right.  You see I am in the visualizing section of TOOLs so I immediately visualized myself as a kid riding around with the buds, drinking beer and tossing the bottles without care of where they landed.  Then visualized some lady walking her dog and having to get all muddy and wet because she had to carry her dog around my mess, then I saw someone not notice the glass and their poor dog cut its paw.  Using the visualization tool to see the results or your action and how they will affect you is awesome, but I also think it is just as important to see how your actions may have a negative effect on others as well.  This really got me wondering how my reckless, careless or selfish actions may have affected someone negatively and it prompted me to change my behavior.  From now on not only will I visualize the results of my actions I will also visualize how they may affect others.  The whole point of this ramble?  Don’t be an A hole like me and keep others in mind.

On a lighter note, still sober and loving life more every minute.  I have been slacking on spreading the love and support around TOOLs but I will be putting more effort in to getting it out there.  You folks are all awesome and I wish the best for you and yours.  Sleep well, wake well, have a GREAT day and week.

Until next time, you stay classy fellow TOOLers,

RAD Cool

Your doing great!

Life seems like a big circle right?  From throwing the glass to carrying your furry friend over the glass.

Keep up the good work buddy!

Wow

You're the coolest A-hole I ever met.
