How to be consistent?

I start with good intentions for a couple of days writing in my food journal and then something else always is distracting me. I eat good on the weekday then destroy all my hard work by pigging out on the weekend ( usually pizza and chocolate chips from subway is my splurge) not big on eating out much and I do not drink soda but lots of water. I got real sick for 4 days with the pizza so i will not be eating it anymore. I hope someone can help me with eating on the weekends.

I know your question is about finding consistency in your diet but I'm a great believer in not completely depriving yourself.

If you love pizza, why not consider making a healthy vegetarian pizza at home?  I have been doing this for a few months and love it now and it makes a quick dinner when you can't be bothered cooking a large meal or when you need to use up ingredients.  Just make sure you supplement the thick pizza base with wholemeal pita bread.  I have a couple of great recipes I use so if you want them just email me.

Other than that all I can think of is perhaps sharing one cookie or one small pizza with a friend so you can't eat all of the portion.

Good luck.
