Well, I'm 23 years old and single.  I work a job with no schedule and very limited days off.  I start work between 3:30 and 7:00 in the morning, working until the job is done, which can be by noon some days, and can be at 10:00 at night on others.  I get 3 days off per month, and more if we get rain, which limits how much work I can do.  Despite all this, I generally like my job.  I'm into vehicles; I have 2 custom trucks and hopefully by spring I'll have another truck to begin a ground-up rebuild of it.  I just bought my first house.  I go through stretches where I don't want to have anything to do with anyone and I'm just generally miserable, and I'm hoping that this can help me with those times.

Growing up, I generally wasn't accepted by other kids.  As we all grew older that began to change, and just as I was starting to feel like I belonged, I left to pursue opportunities with sports.  Despite moderate success with that, in the end it became more of a job than a game and I decided that if I wasn't enjoying playing at that level anymore then it wasn't something I should be doing.  Also, outside of sports, I generally disliked being where I was more and more each day, and it became a downward spiral.  After leaving, I got a job in a small town near where I grew up and really enjoyed the town and finally felt like I fit in.  However, after being screwed around at work, and having some of my best friends leave for greener pastures, I too quit my job and left town, taking the job I have now.

Within the next 2-7 years, I would like to quit my manual-labor job in favor of something less dangerous and with better hours.  Not something in an office, but something a little more structured and less demanding on the body.  I'd also like to settle down and start a family before I'm 30.  In the time being, I'd like to make sure I always do something to enjoy the occasional days off I get.  Looking further into the future, I'd like to be able to relax when it's time to retire, not have to worry about money or bills, but have my family and my toys and enough free time to enjoy both.
