Complaining, communicating, and acceptance

My log and analysis of my complaints has brought some surprises.  One, I sometimes have a hard time distinguishing between something over which I have control and something that I don't.  Another is that I need to do a better job of communicating with my husband.  I find myself complaining about his behavior when I haven't clearly expressed my needs and I often complain about his lack of communication when I need to improve my own and make communicating with me more enjoyable.  As always, there's much to work on.

On another note, I am giving up the idea that I need to complete the toolbox in a certain amount of time or that I need to complete a tools day every day.  I find that I need more time to work the toolbox and often need more than a day to absorb the material of each lesson.  I will complete tools day by day, just not in 90 days.  And that's ok.  I'm in this to get the most out of it; not to win an award for star pupil.
