Day 11 - help?

So, no more excuses, eh? That'll be good for me. I think it will help me take action in my life. In fact, I got a call back (voicemail) from a job interview while I was working on tools just now.. I'm afraid of what they'll say, but I'm listening to it anyway...

Man, she didn't say if I got it or not! She just wants me to call back so we can talk. ARGH. I'm afraid to tell the truth - that I think both jobs may be too much for me to handle. Maybe she doesn't want to offer me the job. Then I wouldn't have to explain (excuse) myself. Crap. (Taking the new job would mean cutting the hours at my current job, something they're not counting on at all... I would feel guilty doing that to them and I wouldn't be able to give much notice.. less than a week maybe. Not that they couldn't figure out a way to cover it... it might be possible for them to hire someone else or get another employee to help, but I don't want to look bad to them.)

What do I do if she offers me the job?

Help?

Grasp the nettle

Talk to her. Find out the situation.

If she wants to talk, its probably not a negative thing.

Whatever the outcome, it is an opportunity, change always requires choice, no easy answers. Think through the scenarios, and make the decision, but talk 1st.
