its hard
the best thing to do to give yourself a bit of perspective on this situation is to sit down and put on her shoes, and then take a walk.
You probably have valid points and good reasons to do the things you do, but truth be told so does she. The more you can try to understand her side and her feelings, the more productive a conversation between you to will be. No one but you can decide to quit your job, or not... but I noticed you said u do what u do to make a better life for your family. Is it worth losing the family....? If it comes to that....? A lot of ppl in my neck of the woods go work north on the rigs for a couple years to make lots of money to support their families. In the end, a lot of times, they stay up there workin longer bc now they pay for divorse, alimony and child support. Just some food for thought.
Try to forget evey single reason u have for doing what u do, when you hear her side.
It waill help you listen instead of saying "but I...." "thats not the way it is...." ect ect
Good luck its definatly a tough situation but communicating and figuring out how to move forward together is the most important thing. TOOLS is going to help you do this... keep going!!!
