I'm 33 years old and have a girlfriend and beautiful 5 year old son. I have a pretty good job and am doing well financially. I drink way too much and have a family history of depression and just basically screwing everything up. Hence why I'm here.

I was raised on a grain/cattle farm in southern Saskatchewan as an only child. My Mom couldn't handle the stress and left when I was 2 so I was raised by my Dad who had his own problems with alcoholism. I graduated high school in my local town and immediatly got a job in a local factory. After 10 years of boozing and working a dead end job I got a better job in the wind energy sector.

I would really like to kick my depression and anxiety issues in the ass. I believe I need to quit drinking in order to do this. For starters anyway. I believe that this would make me a much better father to my son who already worships me and follows my every move.
