Making things happen

I think the toughest part of this process continues to be improving my attitude.  It seems like a trap for me to be angry, complain, and make excuses for my shortcomings.  I have taken active steps in this area to improve my outlook and attitude towards all situations I encounter.  The thing I need to remember the most is that I can change most of the things I complain about.  Hate my job-Guess what, I had an awesome interview today.

That is just one example, but I am really working on that part of this whole process and that has always been the biggest challenge for me.  NO COMPLAINTS NO EXCUSES

Give yourself some time

You are doing a great job!  It is a learning process and that is what you are doing.  You kept coming back and are on Day 14 - that is great progress!

Here is a snap shot to consider - think about the AAA - awareness, acceptance, action.

Tools is providing the awareness of how complaining, excuses, and attitude impact your life ......and you need some time to accept the reality of how they have been operating.

When you really start to see how these don't serve you, in combination with how other things do, your desire to have more of the positive will drive you into more consistent action. That is why you have the daily checklist as a reminder!  And a few logs to help track and chip away over time.

Your job scenario is a great example and a good place to start.  Keep coming back and using your tools...you will be given plenty more tools to support your journey.

Again, great job!
