I am now a thirty something searching for meaning. I have a lovely fiance and our new-born son keeps us busy and we are oh so proud of him. I have a lot of hopes and dreams that I wish to fulfil because I didn't do it when I was younger. No I can't play in the NHL now but there are other things I wish to do. I love to sing and can play the piano so I want to pursue something there. I write poetry and someday would like one published. I want to own my own business but need a good plan. And someday move away from Edmonton and live somewhere we would really enjoy. BC!!! That would be nice. I have some aspects of my life I wish to understand and possibly change for the better. But some of those are very personal and with the loss of two very close friends in the last couple years I feel it is time to transform my life and become what I feel I should have been a long time ago!!!!

Grew up in a great family but I rebelled and got in to drugs and alcohol. That was my life for about a decade before I began to settle down. Established a life and was ready to take the next step when my "then" fiance decided to leave me and then I lost a best friend in a car accident. Then two years later I lost another friend in a car accident. Then I lost my job of 6-1/2 years. In between all that I met an amazing girl and we had a baby boy. That his my history in a nutshell!!

With my new wonderful family I hope to gain a career running my own business, travel with the family and make a wonderful life together. There are a few things about myself I've battled with for a while that I wish to change in order to solidify who I am so that I can be a happier person. I want to make these changes for myself and my family!!
