I wrote an article for Canadian Living April 2007 with the assistance of a journalist. This article is about my son and I.  I was pregnant at 19 and unfortunately I continued drinking and partying. I wasn't an alcoholic, I was a young woman who didn't think of the consequences of her actions. I'm now 44 years old and my son is 24. I would give anything to be able to turn back time, but that's not a reality. Please take the time to read our story and pass it on to anyone you think would benefit. It's not an easy story for me to tell, each time when I speak on Fetal Alcohol as a BirthMom I'm in tears full of emotion, the tears start in the morning in the shower.  This is an important story for me to share with as many people as possible.

Please Note: There was a mistake in the article I  would like to clarify here, I was pregnant at 19, and gave birth at 20, not 23 as stated in the article.
