Smile

I thought this was interesting...

The other day I was having coffee with friends and one of them said that she did not want to smile too much or she might get lines. I was a little shocked... smile lines?? They aren't so bad I told her; they show your character-that you are a happy person.

Needless to say she was not impressed with my answer.

I think the older we get the more interesting we get. My Dad was a doctor for many years and has since retired. He loved his job and worked very hard. He looks fantastic and the lines on his face conmpliment him. He doesn't look like he was dragged down by life. He lived life and was happy.

I think that smiling over the years and finding, "YOUR HAPPY" is what it is all about!

If you are unhappy and you want to smile, Tools to Life is the perfect place to be!

May the Light Shine on YOU today and remember don't forget to Smile!

Funny you should say that !

I read somewhere that smiling involves less muscles than frowning. so by not smiling, she's creating more 'lines'....am loving your attitude and reading your blogs.

Also a weird thing happened today at the grocery store.  there were 2 grocery attendants just bantering with each other and then one of them looked back and passed a sarcastic remark (was in front of line) 'now why are you smiling like that?'.  I  just smiled back and said 'do you have a problem with me smiling' and he just did not have a response, stopped pestering the other person.

it's weird...didnt even know I had a smile on my face.  the other clerk just giggled at me and gave me extra special treatment :-).

You make me smile Thanks for sharing....You make me smile

Smiles for miles

I keep smiling whatever the wrinkles because happiness counts more that our outer shell, andI find smiley wrinkles beautiful anyway. Funny there is no word for an inverted smile when people sulk...

I also like to learn to be neutral, no smile but serennity and relaxation. I am very interested in that and in learning more subtle face expression because in the past I thought a non-smiling person was showing aggressivity.
