Must resist soda....

Foot in mouth

I've been trying to cut down on the amount of caffeine I take in.  I was good all day about not having a Coke, but my resolve was weakening when I got home and old patterns where trying to take a hold.

So I read some blogs instead and found someone else that was replacing soda with water.

YAY water!

Good for you

You resisted temptation!!!  I went two months without  regular pop..but took that one drink with some pizza and haven't gotten back off again yet.  I had switched to diet  then  to caffeine free diet....but I wanted  reg. pop weith some pizza about two weeks ago...and that was all she wrote.  On the assesment  I  always put one star for drinking.. I know it is for alcohol but  I use it for pop.

I plan to get back off of it...but not  with diet... only on pizza night will I drink diet. I think  decaf.  iced tea and hot tea without sugar are my favorites.

Keep up the great work!!Smile

Dread Soda Lure

You did it! You did it!

Me too! Man this soda thing is hard! I have I think...three months..off all pop now. But EVERY time I look over there at that soda sign or soda machine or nice, cool soda in the store fridge...it's still hard. So far I tell myself...just as Onmyway says..."DON'T DO IT. You'll be right back on the stuff in a minute." It is getting easier. Now I do green tea, iced tea, juices, oh there's a refreshing drink where you do cranberry juice with soda water and a touch of lime...YUM! And our WATER, naturally. I do notice the diference now that I don't do soda. So keep at it! Yay for you! ("Must resist soda...."  TOO Funny!)

Resisted Temptation! Yay!

Good for you! Resisting like that! Way to go! When I was in high school I had a Coke issue that evolved into a Diet Pepsi issue during university and throughout most of my 20's and became a coffee issue as I decided I needed to get rid of the pop. And now I think I'm ok. I still have a couple of cups of coffee in the morning, but the rest of the day I drink herbal teas, water, juice, skim milk, etc. And I feel pretty good about that. I never even look for pop anymore. I might have a couple of glasses a year at events and things. But I used to drink at least 2L everyday, so I can tell you that it does get easier.

You're not alone You're not alone

Grear job!!!

Congratulations, it gives me so much hope seen people having great results! keep up the great work :)
