Today is my one month of tools!!!!
I'm very excited and in positive spirits today, even though my day could have been a bit better --- but! Its nice to be home and instead of feeling sad after a GREAT day, I feel GREAT after a medeoker (?) day! Weird but hey I'll take it!
I liked todays ideas about taking the time... to notice. This time of year it can be hard to find beauty in my neck of the woods bc its GROSS out! dirty brown gross snow piles everywhere due to the snow plows/street scrapers. HOWEVER I am lucky enough to have a dog that I need to get out so every weekend we make sure to go to awesome parks in the city where u feel like ur so far from the city.... by the river in forested areas where appriciating the beauty is unavoidable! I like those times :) and I'm GRATEFUL to my dog for that otherwise I'm sure I would have no idea that this city offers the longest accessable river vally (in a city) in north america. Seriously its true!!
Also I am GRATEFUL bc as of late, I have been fortunate enough to have a few ppl send me friend requests, even tho I've never really "met" them on tools yet.... it gives me such a positive boost that I MUST be doing something right even tho sometimes I feel shitty and complain. So THANKS EVERYONE for that!! I really have to say again --- to everyone who is new BLOG! it really helps to feel your sence of community and support here. It helps to bring you back, feeling like ppl care what you think, and how you are, and what you have to say. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how creative...n/m Bevlin, as a few of us have come to know him... has graduated and is STILL HERE cheering us all on. I have noticed ppl I"m friends with who blog also CHEER the blogging point. If you don't want to fine, no pressure and your NOT less of a TOOLer for not doing it, but I think those of us who rant here can atest to the fact that it helps!!! To be honest me more than you, probably, but if it strikes a "me too!" chord with anyone else and I get a comment about it..... GOOD LORD! does that ever help me even more!!!
Example, my friend just started tools and mentioned how he hasn't blogged yet and I highly encouraged it for the above reasons, turnes out he FINALLY blogged, only a few sentinces, and got the most cheers for the day :) ----> like 15 or so which is a lot!I"m so proud of him and if he saw it, I"m sure he felt so pround of himself too --- not to mention how good YOU ALL made him feel, I'm sure you'll never know.
BUT the point is we all make each other feel good at one point or another I"m sure
Do you know I usually dont even turn on my tv until 7/8 now that I'm on tools? I come home, clean kitchen if I need to(to help make me feel better), dishes or whatev, take dog out, get on tools, make dinner --- listening to music :) BLOG check out others blogs/questions/profiles/whatev and then finally relax to the PVR after a WAY more productive day then my old school way of tv, tv, tv, guess I'll eat, forget the dishes I'm tired, smoke a doobie go to bed wake up tired to a messy house.
God I miss those days.... YA RIGHT mother goose!!! forget that shit! My sad depressing days are the days of old - IF I fall into that trap again I feel shitty. BIG SURPRISE
So anyways. I bought myself a harmonica yesterday. It was one of the things from last years goals I missed. Plus I think its good for me and makes ME feel good. And this week I'll buy some flowers bc they make me smile. I don't expect them too, but I have a clear vision of smiling when I finally do find the ones I like :) I also smile thinking I have friends out there who are reading this to check up on me :) Thanks guys - you know who u are!!! SMILES for u guys and whats up and awesome with you!!! Mama Tee's been a readin and things 'r a-lookin tasty!!
yum yum!!
(I have no idea what that means but I laughed as I wrote it so roll with the beats okay?!)

Your attitude rocks
Just came in from working out in my garage and read your blog and it made a great day even better. Your positivity kicks major A$$ and put a huge smile on my face. Keep on keeping on
Congrats!!
Keep it up!! You are so right about the blogging. This last weekend I posted my longest blog (rant) yet, and i felt great afterwards!
Too funny!
Keep it up you are amazing! I am cheering for you.
I will always be on here cheering on my friends...
Teelle, thanks for the props. I really see your enthusiasm for this program and I love how motivated you are. Your are a third of the way in and you're going to have a great time here.
I love your pic! Your dog is SO CUTE. Your smile and that dog make ME SMILE. :)
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
Understand..
I know what you mean about being down this time of year.. Even though I don't live that close to Santa, I still get the snow and the brown grass and such, which gets me in a bad mood... or used to.
And I agree 100000000% about blogging, no use to hold all that BS inside you, let it out.. I know it has helped me get over some humps I have had since I started this program.
You so ROCK!
I had a chance to jump on here after a very productive day at work I must say, and before I head home to all kinds of peeps and plans... but I had to check in with my Tooler friends! And yep, blogging is da bomb! You are doing so great and I'm proud of you! Can't wait for your next blog and I'll be cheering you on until the finish too! I'm pretty sure I can speak for a few of on here that we are definitely attached to each other. It's a special Tools bond. :-) I love it!
