I let some come back

A couple of years ago, I stopped a relationship with a friend that I knew for nearly twenty years. The problem was, as much as I lover her, she dumped all her problems on me and projected anger and sadness on me. Conversations were one-sided, and she could speak for hours without me saying anything. Well I stopped being the sounding board. She didn't understand and was very hateful. I felt that I could not continue my healing by listening to her anymore.

Well, I recently let her come bvack in my life, and, of course, I have set some boundries that weren't there before-so I am hoping that things work out OK. She has lost over 100 lbs, and is working on herself to.

I guess I am concerned, but I do have to say that she also can be a very loving and giving person, so I feel that she deserves the second chance.
