BE A HERO!!!!!!!

From someone who has, in a sense, been there, WAY TO GO PAUL!!!!!

Thank-you for Sharing this Dave!!!!!

I'm a great supporter of Organ Donation.  I try to help others understand the need for donations and what it could mean to a family.

My husband died at age 39.  A kidney transplant brought him to me, and a kidney/heart transplant took him away from me.  He received his transplant from the generous donation of a 16 year old girl's family. He took care of it and it lasted 17 years.  (For those who dont know, that is a very long time).

His heart went bad at age 34.  It destroyed the transplanted kidney.  He was given 5 years.  At 37, we married, He was placed on a DUO heart/kidney transplant list.  He died... WAITING FOR A TRANSPLANT at age 39.

BRAVO TO PAUL AND ANYONE ELSE  WHO:

  • TAKES THE INITIATIVE TO MAKE THEIR WISHES KNOWN TO THEIR FAMILY TO DONATE THEIR ORGANS,
  • FOR STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE WHEN A LIVE DONATION CAN BE MADE,
  • FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN, NOT JUST THINKING/TALKING ABOUT IT!!!!!

Dave is right, Paul IS a HERO
