Day 77 Snow Day... It actually is...

Ha no such things as coincident.  I woke up this morning and the whole house was glowing blue... For those that live in a snow belt you know that means lots of snow.  It is that beautiful moon light off the snow that sneaks in and brightens things up.

So what's a girl to do but skip out on the hour drive to work and enjoy a snow day.

Glorious!

So I have so far had grilled grapefruit (so good).  Played guitar.  Sang. I'm now watching kids play outside and may have to venture out for my Tim's coffee.

Slightly sad that my hubbie is working cause I would drag him out with me.

So enjoy all.  Go Play.

Go build a snowman

Enjoy the snow and build a snowman.

Sounds like the rest of you is having a great day! Thanks for sharing! Angie

How cool!!

Love it!!!  What's a girl to do indeed???????  Sounds like a fantastic day!  Blessings!

Yay!

Sounds like a great day :)

It was a fabulous day!

So took full advantage of the day.

  • I dressed up in full snow gear and ventured out in the snow.  It was amazing.  So still as very few vehicles (trucks mostly) made it out onto the roads.  But the coolest there was burst of kids squeeling (with glee) and birds singing (or bitching hard to say).  My prize at the end of the walk was a hot cider and cini-bun at Tim's.
  • I bonded with my father in-law as we tackled shoveling the drive.  He is such an amazingly hard working man.  It was nice to spend some time just us as we worked to surprise Steve with a cleaned driveway.
  • I finished off the day with chili, fresh bread and the adoration of my hubbie.  I earned some major brownie points on top of having a day to remember.

I encourage all of you not to wait until day 77 to have a snow day (or sun day depending on where you are.)  Do something you love doing that will make today, tomorrow and the next day be a day to remember.

So worth it!

Tracie.
