So true Tania!
Yes I have been down the quick fix road before!
I know first hand that it needs to be a life change; much like tools is. I have done a program Body for Life. It is suppose to be a program you do for the rest of your life. It worked very well; I had lost 35 lbs and was the most fit I had ever been. At the end of 90 days I should have kept going but was so happy to have survived I thought ah I'll just take a few weeks off (thinking I deserved it). That translated into a few years off. Then throw in a major knee and then back injury I have slipped back to no activity and gained all of the wieght back.
I think Dax’s Fat Loss M.A.P Program is healthier / better. No magic shakes, stimulants, sweetners, or power-bars; Real food that will balance and become an ingrained part of everyday life. I am not sure what the exercise program will be but I am up for the challenge.
I will eventually enjoy this new way of eating and exercising... EVENTUALLY. But honestly I have been so far off track that my mind and body are enjoying doing unlogical and unhealthy stuff. Detoxing is never enjoyable and I imagine for 30 days I am gonna question this all the way.
Beyond the 30 days, my goal is to have the habits to truely be healthy for the rest of my life. I will still have weight to lose and I will still want to be more fit but if after 30 days I no longer have to struggle to make the right choices then I will consider the program a giant success.
Thanks again for the words of wisdom and encouragement
Keep thriving!
Tracie.
