EXERCISE: 15 minutes every morning. 5 min stretch, 5 min situps / pushups, 5 min breathing exercises (mother pose).
Go to bed by 10:30 and up at 5:30 each day (exceptions will be made if justified by something worthwhile).
Read Life Goals at the start of everyday.
READ - Work enhancing material for the first 15 minutes each morning (with a bonus goal of last 15 min before I go home) for the next 30 days. Topic for May (Policy and Procedure Development).
Book Mexico vacation for December 3-17 by May 29th. 3 bedroom for us and moms. 6 bedrooms for us and the gang.
Open (clean, purge, dig out fire pit, paint, fix up) the trailer by May 29th.
Work out 4 days a week for at least 45 minutes at a moderate to high effort level for the rest of the year.
Record 3 song cover and post it to Youtube by the end of June.
I will complete a 3 day mono-diet (apples) in May to settle down my system and get on track for clean healthy eating.
I will weight 155 lbs by June 30th.
Practice guitar for 30 minutes a day for 30 days. 5 min stretches and setup, 10 min drills, barres and arpeggios, 10 min new song, 5 min song-in-progress, 5 min favourite.
Sing for at least 20 minutes a day for 30 days. 3 min warm up, 5 min drills, 5 min new song, 5 min band songs, 5 min recital songs, 2 min cool-down.
Spice up Steve and my relationship. Bring back the fire we had, the attention I gave him, and the closeness we shared. Start with a gester a day until it is habit.
Put 10 things on my Life list.

Okay one week down… and the verdict… Feeling great and down 5lbs.

What have I successfully done without:  Dairy, wheat, sugar and all things in packages?  What have I missed… definitely my double-double coffee. What I have learned that I love?  Steamed veggies with fresh lemon and seasoning are tasty.  Sushi is now a favourite.  Frozen fruit blended with almond milk takes away my need for ice cream.  I actually like eating clean.  Switching cold turkey was hard but for me necessary. 

Have I stuck to the plan perfectly? Nope.

I apparently have auto eat mode, because when we went to McDonalds I had a lovely salad with my own almonds and my lemon pepper dressing.  Had my water.  Felt satisfied.  Then when my friend passed me her extra apple pie I simply obliged and ate that as well.  I didn’t even really think.  That was one of four recorded oops.  The lesson learned is I now am stop and think before I eat.

Exercise has also been less then perfect.  No excuses.  I am just trying to get into the habit of exercising.  I was down and out a full 2 days with a migraine thanks to the detox.  Once that cleared, I started back with a modified exercise plan.  Still need to drag myself to exercise.  I half way agree when people say it needs to be fun, that you need to want to do it.  That comes after the initial exercise resistance is over come.  For me I am still waiting for that switch to turn on.  I know it will come.  Until then I will just keep doing it because it is what needs to get done if I am to lose this 25lbs.

So things to work on this week are planning and prepping meals ahead and splitting exercise up throughout the day.
