ah Thursday

Alright - I am still here. Devlyn keeps congratulating me in the videos for still being here.  I am not sure 4 days is that big of a commitment.  I am more impressed by people who make it 2 weeks or 4 weeks.

I am doing the exercises and trying to follow the check list.... but too many new things are added everyday.  It is hard to keep up.  Nothing is going to stick if we keep adding on more so quickly.

I need some encouragement - people who say they feel better after 2 days here make no sense to me.  I do not feel better yet at all.  I feel like all this self talk is good, but it is not related to my goals at all.  Everything seems too nebulous at the moment to possibly have an impact.

sigh - not happy.  smiling does not make a person happy.  I just feel like a sad person who is faking a smile.

Sure, sure having a great day

Great blog. Sure lots of people feel better right away, but lots of people don't. It all depends on your situation and so many other factors. I have to say I was pretty crabby my first two weeks...I said "I'm having a great day" with about as much conviction as ...well you know. I was NOT having a great life, and I had a lot to handle.  Many concerns in life take time to shift and improve. I was pretty convinced my situation just didn't fit the TOOLS program and I would be just as stuck as ever. Still, I did my toolbox every day. Some days better than others.

So given that you don't feel any better after 4 days, it IS GREAT that you are still here. It means you are willing to keep going, to give it some more time, to see what else might be around the corner. And it's great you blog so that we can hear what's going on with you.

I can relate

I hear you I hear you.

Hey, I know exactly what you mean.  I am on day 9 now but it took me til day 5 to complete my profile and I am still not done.

That is one of the great things about TOOLS.  You can set your own pace.  This is about you and improving your life, not keeping up with the Jones'.

Okay, you don't feel better yet but, you are still here and telling your story. That is a positive an opportunity.  Keep going you can do this.

We are here for you.
