alright now

Alright now - how long does the checklist get?

Those of you who are ahead of me -- tell me honestly how long does it get?

I am on day 13 and there 33 things on the list.

Does coach think I have NOTHING else to do with my life?  And every day he adds a few more.  I realize some are easy - but many are really hard to do and take a lot of time to think about.

I know - you are about to tell me that if it is important enough then I would find the time.  I think you would all agree that food and shelter and sleep are more important.

sigh - grrrrr --- grumpy.

Been without water in my shower or kitchen for 4 days now...... ggggrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Man, I feel you!

Hey Susan,

I feel you.  I think the same thing some days.  Then I think do I really want change?  If I really want change then I have to change the way I think.  Beacuse.....it's all about me!!!!

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!

Just keep going

Do as much as you can.  I would say take what you like and leave the rest, but I sometimes found that the pieces of Tools I resisted most were what helped me most; structure, self-discipline, CONSISTENCY.  I can't say I do it all perfectly now, but I do what works for me, which works better than not doing it at all.  Looking back, I'd say try to do it first thing in the a.m., even if it means getting up a bit earlier, or doing each day over a few days.  This isn't a race.

By the way, my mother went to UW-Madison.

It gets looooooooooooooooooooooong!

But what ends up happening is that the tasks become a part of your daily routine and you don't even think about them as a chore after awhile. For example, most of the checklist right now has to do simply with how you wake up in the morning. It looks like a lot on paper but the tasks are just better ways of doing things you already do, like get up in the morning. Brushing our teeth and drinking water, we already do that, we are just doing a little extra. Hang in there, don't get discouraged. I promise, if you put in the effort you will become a new and improved version of yourself. You will feel happier, like yourself more, enjoy your life more and accomplish much much more! Promise.
