Trying to get myself motivated

Just want to remind myself of what I'm trying to do here.  I have been able to get through the workweeks without drinking but the weekends have been another story, so now move on to keeping sober for the whole week.  I have not been doing Tools everyday and have had little drive to do anything.  I think I need to go back and do the first couple days over again.  I don't seem to be able to focus on anything for very long.  This week I want to stay off the couch when I am not working and keep moving.  Hopefully keeping moving will give more energy and desire to do more things.  I don't like not doing things.  I was supposed to go skiing on sunday but instead slept in till 10:30 AM and then held the couch down till 10 PM.  This is to remind myself to get off my ass, get into shape, and start living life again!!!

Go get 'em, Tiger!

HEY.

You are doing great!  Rome wasnt built in a day.  Progress is progress.  So you want to improve the weekends.  Improve the weekends.  That is great.  Im so proud of you for getting thru the rest of the week as well!  Look how far you have come in less than 2 months!!!

I recall someone saying that by drinking alot of water, it will help flush the system of some of the toxins.  Perhaps they have loaded you down and why you have such a huge amount of lead on the back end!  LOL   I loved the comment about holding the couch down!!!!

Just remember friend that it is one day at a time.  Get through today each day and you will have it made.

Im told that it is difficult to stop drinking.  Some have told me that it becomes rather lonely because when you stop drinking, you lose friends who dont stop drinking.  I have seen it happen too.  The good thing is... after a time, they make new friends.  Perhaps ones that dont judge a friend by the beer he/she holds in their hand.~If you know what I mean~.

Keep up the GREAT work!!!  Sounds like you have identified some key areas you need to work on.

So go get 'em, Tiger!!!

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!
