Making it happen

I finally got out of the house after work.  The winter on the east coast is long and boring for me.  I have been feeling like I don't have the money or energy to keep up the lifestyle I have always loved.  Thats part of the reason I started Tools, to try to get that back!  Using Tools has been a help but I really needed to get something active to do to get motivated like I said last week.  A friend of mine encouraged me to get out of the house and start Jui Jitsu like I said I wanted to.  After writing last week, my friend told me not to even think about it, just go out and start this new thing.  So i did, now i am obligated to get to the gym and train, and it feels good to push myself.  I am hoping it helps me to push myself to do the other things I want to do.  Pushing myself to do this one thing reminded me that I have always pushed through the bordom in the past and always got the best out of myself and the things that are out there to enjoy, all year long.

Now I just have save enough money to get to the places I want to go.  At least one trip to the surf and one trip to the snow.  So it is another reason not to drink.  I will save money and put it to good use.  Hope this message finds everyone pushing themselves to be what they want to be.

Glad to hear from you

Great blog, and setting the goal out to the cosmos is the first step to making it happen.

My next tip to make it happen, is to go and borrow, buy, loan magazines/books about the places you want to go.  See them, taste them, dream about them, make them real in your mind.  This will really drive your goal home and start making it a reality.

Tell others that you want to go.  Try and rally some friends to go with you.

It will happen, because you have decided.  The next decision is when.

Have a great day! Angie
