Just maybe I can do this!

I've finished 7 days so far! I'm starting to think I can actually do this!  I thought the clapping and saying 'I'm having a great day' was kinda silly at first, but now I remember to do it.

I've also been surprised at how much just smiling has lifted my spirits. I think I was unconsciously going about my day with a sad look on my face and thought smiling was an effort.  But, it truly feels good!

I DO hear coach Steele's voice in my head when I read the tools.

I find that printing out the tools each day and keeping them in a folder helps me a lot.  Sometimes if I have a moment, I take them out and re-read them and sometimes find something new that I missed before.

THAT IS WONDERFUL!

Hi there WineD,

Welcome to TOOLS (I know, you're on 7 but haven't come across your post.. anyway, welcome).  I like how you lay down those basic things.  Simple but plays a huge part in our day-to-day tackling of Tools.  Ain't it wonderful?  Looks like you're in tune with the principles, congratulations on that and stick with it.  Not to mention, of course, the regular rituals:  CLAP, SPLASH, BRUSH, SMILE ... we all do.  Have a great day!

Cheers,

Autumn MistKiss

Way to go! Way to go!

If that is the least you can do

If smiling is the very least that Tools will teach you, then you are doing wonderfully!  I felt that same high (probably back around day 7) and whenever I have followed tools I have been on that same high.  The only time I am not on a high is when I throw a self-induced pity party or similar.  But the more I smile the less I feel inclined to choose to have a downer anyway.

Keep up the excellent work, and don't forget to log an entry in your achievements.  Have a great day and keep smiling!

Cheers, Bek

Let it sink into the brain!

To Autumn Mist and Beknec,

Thanks for your supportive comments! I'm still fairly new to this website so I hope you're receiving this post. I hope I'm doing this right.

I will be sure and log an entry into my achievements.  I tend to wait for the 'big stuff' to happen, but the point of the Law of Accumulation is step-by-step, little-by-little...duh, I get it!

I don't log in every day because I want the material presented to really sink in...and live with it for a day or two.  I print out all the coach's notes, etc. though and re-read them every day.  This has been very helpful to me, plus, of course, all your encouraging comments :)
