struggling to stay focused

Well I've completed up to Day 4, and decided to work on this checklist for a few days. The getting out of bed routine is no problem, it's the exercises after that I am struggling to train my brain to do. I recently started a new job/ career focus, I come from a strictly academic background and am now head first into advising/consulting. I'm enjoying the new challenges but get quite anxious and overwhelmed when I feel overworked. I am setting up a new office, have visiting colleagues, was overbooked for meetings and calls and now have a deadline to reach and will have to "cram" to get it in....and finishing my grad degree and  trying to plan a wedding (knew I should have eloped!)

What have I learned from this problem/situation? First of all I will learn to say to no to work, it's quality not quantity as they say. Secondly, I will begin to better manage my time. Thirdly a I WILL learn to just RELAX.

;)

Sounds like an excellent plan.

What you have learned is excellent and practical.  There's not one thing you've mentioned here that is not doable.  You can make this happen, not just some of it but the whole shebang.  Go get 'em!

Day 43 and counting

When I started tools I also thought to give it a try for a couple of days and see what happened.

Now I can tell you, I´ve enjoyed every single day of it and its working great for me. I´m sure it will for you too.

One of my personal goals is also to learn to relax and put a limit to my work hours. Not completely yet there, but I´m sure I will get to it.

Keep Going Your Doing Great

You are doing great. I thought the same way you did when I first started my journey with tools. You will learn to accomplish so much if you stick to the program. Each and every day you just keep saying to yourself  "today is going to be a great day" and that will help you go through another day.

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!
