Rock Bottom or New Start?

well this past weekend, mainly friday was life changing for me. about 2 hours after i posted my blog for that morning. saying i hit a wall... it actually happened. i was laid off from my job after almost 10 years of service. it wasnt anything on a personal level. the company is slowly going under because its part of the construction trade and its suffering badly in southern california. it sucked for me because i had to say good bye to people i have known for 10 years. that was the hardest part for me. i was unhappy with the company but i was trying to stick with the company thru this recession and get back into school before i left for a better job. well the recession beat me to it. im not heart broken about losing the job like others think.

so come saturday, it started hitting me. i lost my girlfriend and i lost my job. alot of loneliness hit me and set it. it was really depressing. however, i really looked at my life and i looked and whats going on and instead of me saying "i hit rock bottom and i have nothing going for me in life" i instead chose to say "im getting a new start for myself" new job and the possibility of a new love in the future. the good part is, im looking at this in a positivie light thanks to Tools. im not freaking out and looking at this like i would have without tools... its an awesome feeling! i know its gonna take time and work to get back on my feet but i know one thing... ill get back on my feet!

ive been polishing up my resume and looking around online to see my options... i know i will get back on top and be even higher in life!

peace out & keep doing work! im gonna make sure to spend even more time on here... time to get my life on an even better path than it was on!

change is good :)

I would say new start for sure. I totally believe that things happen for a reason and sometime you gotta go thru some sudden harsh changes to have better things come into your life.

I'm sorry to hear about your job, but maybe you have some passions/hobbies that you have wanted to pursue but haven't really cause of work?

Even though I haven't been on here a lot lately, im still here for you :)

doors

when one door closes another opens....opportunity knocks bro....It's good that you are taking this on as an opportunity rather than a problem, thats the fix....I wish you all the best of luck man i'm here

Good Luck!
