Hello!  I'm a 36-year old corporate trainer in a long-term relationship.  I joined Tools because it looked like an interesting experiment and a place where I might be able to pick up some tools to use for my job.  I often find myself playing the role of coach with individuals and with teams.

I'm also striving for a few new goals this year.  I have always been a writer, but never been serious about my work.  I want to start trying to get published.

I also want to live in Japan again.  I meant to get back there about five years and got waylaid.  I had some lessons to learn--hard ones.  But now I'm ready, and my partner is going with me.  So I'm studying the language again and looking for a job there.

I had no idea that there were so many like-minded people out there searching for self-improvement.  I am excited to learn from the people.

I have always believed in the power of positive thinking; however, other people in my life sometimes doubt the validity of that.  Let's encourage each other and remind each other to stay positive in the face of those who are afraid to believe it.  Who knows, we might even be able help them see how much better life can be!
